"Hocus Pocus," the 1993 Halloween cult classic, is getting a remake.

Disney Channel announced it is in the early stages of development on a "Hocus Pocus" TV movie to resurrect the Sanderson Sisters once again.

While it may have not fared well with critics (the movie apparently received a 30 percent on Rotten Tomatoes), '90s kids fell in love with the campy horror flick, and haven't stopped watching it since.

But the movie itself isn't all that is new.

According to Hollywood Deadline, none of the original stars will take part in the reboot. The original cast packed a lot of star power, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the movie's lead actresses.

The new cast is a surprising detail, since the actresses previously expressed interest in being involved in a reboot.

In a 2016 interview with People, Parker said she would "love" to be a part of a new "Hocus Pocus" film.

"I think we've all been fairly vocal about being very keen, but that hasn't created any groundswell of movement," she said.

The movie will also have a new, yet-to-be-named director.

The remake is being written by Scarlett Lacey of "The Royals," with David Kirschner, producer on the original movie, on board to executive produce, according to reports.
