Hernando Religion Briefs for Jan. 19


Grace World Outreach missionaries, Javen and Caitlin Mirabella, will host Downtown Worship Night with Immerse Worship from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 19 at Brooksville Commons, 109 S Broad St.

Spring Hill

A spirituality group, sponsored by Unitarian Universalist Church in the Pines, will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at a member's home. The discussion group is for everyone, regardless of background, religious or spiritual affiliations or sexual orientation. Call Andy at (727) 517-1148 for more information and directions.

Temple Beth David, 13158 Antelope St., will present "Be Prepared for an Emergency!" as part of its 2018 TBD Speaker Series at 7 p.m. Jan. 25. The speaker will be Dan Santana (Office of Emergency Management) giving a presentation on hazard preparedness, which will include information the Hernando County Special Needs Database and an overview of training, activities and missions of the Hernando County Community Emergency Response Team. St. Frances Cabrini Parish, 5030 Mariner Blvd., will offer DivorceCare support group meetings to those separated or divorced at 7 p.m. Thursdays for 13 weeks beginning Feb. 8 in Room 3 of Cabrini Center. The free presentations will cover topics such as: What's Happening to Me?; The Road to Healing; Facing Anger, Depression and Loneliness; Financial Survival; New Relationships; and Forgiveness.
